The lunar rover first used by Apollo 15 astronauts in July 1971 wheel on the Moon. The Apollo lunar rover "Jeep", or moon buggy had four-wheel drive per left stamp, electric motors drove each of its wheels. Its top speed was about 10 miles (16km) per hour. The astronauts steered the rover using a kind of joystick, when fully loaded, carried a TV camera, communication antennas, and scientific gear for geological exploration. But the lunar rover was not the first wheeled vehicle to roll over the Moon. this honor goes to Russia's Lunokhod 1, which landed on the Sea of Showers of Moon in November 1970, It had eight wheels and two TV camera "eye" as like human two eyes per right stamp... The final mission to the Moon, Apollo 17, started spectacularly, just after midnight on 7 December 1972. The Apollo 17 landing site was located in a rugged mountain valley called Taurus-Littrow, on the south-east boundary of the Sea of Serenity see Fig. 4, Eugence Cernan takes the invaluable lunar buggy for a spin. later it will transport Cernan and geologist Harrison Schmitt and their equipment for 22miles (35km) geological safari.Fig. 5 Among the impressive display of space hardware assembled at the Alabama Space and Rocket Center is this six-wheeled prototype for the Apollo Lunar Buggy. Fig. 6 Mars Pathfinder, the spacecraft was lauched out of Florida's Kennedy Space Center in December 4th 1996, and landed on the Red planet on July 4th 1997. Mars Pathfinder Rover is named Sojourner which is a small, six-wheel robotic vehicle weight in a sleek 11.5kg (25 lbs) and is size 280mm high, 630mm long and 480mm wide, Sojourner traveled total of about 100 meters (328 feet), explored about 250 square meters of Martian surface, it carried Alpha Proton X Ray Spectrometer and three cameras.Fig. 7 In 2003, two powerful new Mars Rovers landed at different regions of mars. Each Rover has a mass of nearly 180 kilograms (about 400 pounds) and has a range of up to 40 meters (about 44 yards) per sol, or Martian day which are with far great mobility than 1997 Sojourner, they could roll as far as one kilometer (0.6 mile). When it stops, the airbags will deflate and retract, and the petals will open up, bring the lander to an upright position andrevealingtherover.

Fig. 8 A well-established mars base in the third decade of next century. Water has proved not to be a problem, since reservoirs have been found deep inside the crust. Food is no problem either, being grown inside large greenhouse complexes. For long-distance transportation a Mars plane has been developed which can exploit the rarefied atmosphere.
