First Aviator© MUSEUM PILOT WATCH
This is an special edition 9025-10 of museum timepiece designed for the memorization of First Aviator-Otto Lilienthal which will be collected and permanently displayed in Otto Lilienthal Museum, Anklam, Germeny. Otto made the world first flight in 1891 as red year mark on the dial, it is remade really 1800's style from handmade solid sterling case with sterling hallmark & guaranteed 925 fine printed on this dial and rotated 2 hours clockwind on the dial that is an very good viewing angle when flying and watching the time with both hands holding on the steering. Also it is as well as for automobilist and motobikers when driving or cruising. Therefore you could enjoy an aftertaste of polishing shiny silverware on it or leave it oxided as an antique alike. There is two versions of collectiable right hander and left hander for your choice. This First Aviator has been posted in iW magazine (International Watch) in January 2008 issue.

First Aviatrix Flight in Canada
Alys McKey is an US citizen, she flew her first exhibition flight at North Yakima, Washington, on May 3, 1913 and she secretly married Johnny Bryanton on May 29. she set a new women's altitude record of 2,900 feet in Seattle. The post card of First Aviatrix-Alys McKey Bryant's picture with her signature on July 31st, 1913 at 3 PM in Vancouver when her First Flght in Canada. Eight days later, she witnessed the death of her pioneer pilot husband in Canada's first fatal air crash at Victoria, British Columbia on August 6, 1913. This post card was first issued on July 31at 3 PM, 1938 for 25th Anniversary of the First Flight in Canada by a Woman. Also the sender (Washington DC ) of Alys McKey Bryant with herself autograph on her Post Card and dropped it in Vancouver, B.C. to mail to California. ©

New Airmen of ThunderBirds

The United States Air Force (USAF) is the aerial warfare branch of the United States armed forces and one of the seven uniformed services. Previously part of the United States Army, the USAF was formed as a separate branch of the military on September 18, 1947.

In 1947, while the jet age was still in its infancy, military aviation was hurtled into the future with the creation of the U.S. Air Force as a separate service. Just six years later, on May 25, 1953, the Air Force’s official air demonstration team, designated the 3600th Air Demonstration Unit, was activated at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona.

The name “Thunderbirds” was soon adopted by the unit; influenced in part by the strong Indian culture and folklore of the southwestern United States where Luke is located. Indian legend speaks of the Thunderbird with great fear and respect. To some it was a giant eagle … others envisioned a hawk.

Otto Lilienthal is often called the world's true first aviator, also known as the flying man. The german engineer built and flew a series of small hang gliders between 1891 and 1896 who made 2,500 flights.
