The wishing new year box of JAL when I was taking flight on JAL on January 1st. 2006 from Vancouver to Tokyo, This day just was a new year day and this wishing box was issued by JAL Group CEO Mr. Toshiyuki Shinmashi and JALways Co. Ltd. President Mrs. Katsumi Chiyo for "BEST WISHES FOR A HAPPY NEW YEAR" to the JAL passenger. The flight Attendant would pour some SaKe ( Japanese rice wine) on the red cup, then you could enjoy Sake with a bag of dry seafood snack for celebrating Happy New Year on board.
